I've always wanted to build a self-sufficient ecosystem and lately I've been researching lots on these so called terrariums/vivariums. The project itself seems demanding as it require quite a bit of materials and DIY. I've already bought a 20 gallon tall tank which will be used as my first terrarium. If successful I want to move onto something bigger like a 50 gallon.
Another project that I'm working on is an indoor automatic irrigation system for my plants! I'm too forgetful when it comes to watering my plants but thank god I have some pretty resilient spider plants. However I just recently started growing herbs and some moonflowers and I know that if I don't keep on top of the watering it will prove to be a huge failure.
Also I bought a weight gainer so that I could put on a few pounds in preparation for summer... Last time I used the powder supplement it wasn't enough for my body apparently due to my ridiculously high metabolism. I took it religiously everyday packing on an addition 600 calories and a ridiculous amount of protein but after 5 weeks there was no gain. SO this timeIi decided to step it up a notch and go all hardcore and bought this supplement that SHOULD last me 2 months and will provide me an additional 1050 calories a day. HAH. This should add at least a lb a week. So we'll see.
Anyways here are some pictures of my current projects.
